Important Update:
Change to Payment Methods – Payment Via Cheque option ceases from January 1, 2024

We want to inform you of an important update regarding our payment options. The Australian federal government has been reviewing the way business is transacted across all industries with a view to improving financial security and reducing potential for fraud. One outcome of this review is that the government has instructed all banks to cease issuing cheque accounts and allowing the use of and banking of cheques for payment of invoices.

These changes are being phased in over the next few months and the timing of such changes is being driven by the banking industry. Action Insurance Brokers has been instructed by our banking partner to cease issuing or accepting company or personal cheques for payment of premiums or refunds. This change will take effect 1st January, 2024.

We understand that this change may impact some of our loyal clients who have been using cheques for their payments with us. We encourage you to take advantage of our alternate and convenient payment methods, which include:

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT): You can easily transfer funds electronically through your bank directly to our account details on your invoice.

BPay: Using the reference details on your invoice.

Credit Card: We accept payments through major credit cards, including American Express. Credit card payments can be processed via our online payment portal on our website or you can contact our Office to speak to one of our friendly team members who can assist in processing your credit card payment (credit card charges apply).

Premium Funding: Talk to your Account Manager to explore this option as arranged via one of our Premium Funding Partners (conditions, fees and charges apply).

We understand that change can sometimes be challenging so our team are readily available to answer any queries you may have. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work together to make this transition as smooth as possible.

Thank you for your ongoing trust and partnership with us. We look forward to continuing to serve you and meet your needs.
